CDC Conduct Magnetic Sorting

CDC Magnetic grading machine sorting for the continuous
and automatic separation of materials in conduct

CDC type magnetic iron removal devices are for automatically removing magnetic iron metals from inert materials in recycling facilities and for treating waste materials, in the food, plastic and wood industry, It can be used for the recovery of iron metal from the crushing of appliances, cars, “computer” WEEE, for the glass and ceramic industries, and essential for the crushing of minerals.

These permanent magnet systems simplify the separation of iron materials allowing for automatic recovery without production stoppage, saving blade shredders, mills and grinders from potential breakage, on top of guaranteeing a final product with no magnetic steel iron.

The magnetic sorter in conduct is very versatile, and can be made either with an internal drum using permanent magnets, or with an electromagnetic nucleus. CDC Magnetic grading machine is suitable for working small sized materials, (max 10cm), like grain, flour, powders, plastic granules, sawdust, etc.

This magnetic system is made of a non magnetic stainless steel structure upon which a special flanged loading hopper conveys the product close to an adjustable slit in order to optimize the flow.

The material is therefore in contact with the DT model magnet that is made of an internal magnetic nucleus half moon shaped and an external layer, also in non magnetic stainless steel, which turns independently from the nucleus, powered by a gear motor outside the conduct.

The inert material will fall, thanks to gravity, into the first discharge opening, while the iron material pulled by the magnetic field will then be released in the subsequent discharge opening.

The ferrite permanent magnets allow for an almost unlimited time duration and the CDC Magneting grade system does not need any maintenance, since it is self-cleaning.

If a higher magnetic force is needed, for equal sizes, extremely powerful iron removal drum devices can be created, using rare earth magnets that allow for the tripling of a magnetic attraction force, particularly useful for the separation of powders with paramagnetic particles or at a low permeability.

CDC2 is a magnetic separator created for removing iron powders and granules from polluting ferrous metals that are very small or paramagnetic, without losing any prime material. It is identified by a particular automatic cleaning system, obtain via positioning of a magnetic drum (that removes iron from the material) and by a decentralized magnetic pulley that provides for the automatic disposal of all ferrous particles to be disposed of.
