DMR type magnetic iron removers are economic devices suitable for extracting magnetic ferrous metals from inert , used in recycling plants and waste treatment facilities, in the food industry, in plastic and in wood, in the recovery of ferrous metal from the crushing of appliances, cars, “computer” weee, mineral crushing facilities, all essential for glass and ceramics.

These magnetic DMR pipes are used for the conduct that transport grains, flour, powders, wood chips, etc.

These permanent magnet systems simplify separation of ferrous material, allowing for automatic recovery without production stoppage, saving blade shredders, mills and grinders from potential breakage, on top of guaranteeing a final product with no magnetic steel iron.

They should be placed lined up within the feeding, forced or by free fall, pipes, and are supplied with relative fixing flanges or snap clips. The flow within the pipes will not encounter impediments since DMR has one or two magnets along the sides of the pipeline.

Cleaning the magnets is very simple: just open the door and wipe a rag from the top to the bottom. Calamit, upon request, can offer the quick cleaning system ,”book type” to sensibly speed up the cleaning of the magnet.

The DMR separator is created with a supporting aisi 304 or 316 external non magnetic stainless steel structure; the structure is opportunely calculated and sized to hold the weight of the magnet and of the iron bodies attracted by it.

Ferrite permanent magnets allow for almost unlimited time duration, and the DMR Magnetic system does not require any maintenance, aside from scheduled and periodic cleaning/removal of the captured ferrous material.

If a higher magnetic force is needed, in the same dimensions, extremely strong iron removers can be created using rare earth magnets, which allow for a tripling of the magnetic attraction force.
Calamit also produces an automatic cleaning system, making DMR type iron removals with the lateral magnets that can be distanced from the structure via pneumatic pistons.

This system allows for the distancing from the magnetic field,  upon command, of the captured iron material, which can then be discarded by a mechanic flow deviation valve placed under the magnet, that could also be implemented with a pneumatic piston, Everything can be controlled by a special control panel.

We can provide any format upon request.
